A beauty created by Zeus himself - with a few... problems, needless to say. In an attempt to make her love him - and thus subservient - he played with the chemicals in her brain. Instead of eliciting feelings of love, he gave her schizophrenia.
Not only that but a bad case of bipolar disorder, as well.
He avoided her out of shame, keeping her as a cook while he tried to figure out what to actually do with her. This, of course, was a mistake. Having seen the power he had as a God and knowing that, through their contract that formed from her own creation, there was a chance she could ascend to his power...
She placed slow acting, mana blocking poison into his food.. and while he died slowly, she killed herself with cyanide.
He died slowly, give her quick death a loophole in reincarnation. Feeding off his Divine presence, she ascended into a Goddess, Pandora Argyros. A Seraphim Goddess who formed in the loose collection of States known as 'Eden'. Seeing that they needed a strong leader to unify the country, she decided to take the role of 'King Arthur' and unite them all under her, wielding a shard of glass from the Vanity Mirror in her gauntlets in order to do so. Never looking at it, lest she wastes away, instead she used it to draw people towards her. This was something she used to open Pandora's Box when she first encountered it, not knowing what it was. After releasing SIN into the world, Teth gifted her the magic of VOID with an instruction to use this power to place it back in the box - something she would never have the time to do in her life.
Because of this, more seals were placed on the box by the Fates and He was once again locked inside.
Oddly, she was loved by her people, despite how abrasive she could come off as. She buried herself in work, making her citizens her top priority at all times.
She quickly gained support, though her forceful takeover of the role was not without backlash - sending her armies to fight through revolts and pushback, not only did she finally unite The Edonic Union of States, but expanded her empire as well, taking a husband and soon having three children with him, as well as collecting many servants and slaves.
One demon, in particular, would change the course of her life and lead to her eventual death - one that recognized her, but she didn't recognize herself. Asmodeus, the reincarnation of Zeus.
After inviting him into her house for an interview for a servant position, he slipped Rohypnol into her wine when she turned her back. She didn't wake up until he was leaving, but she knew exactly what had happened to her. To add insult to injury, he had gotten her pregnant with her fourth and final child, who would grow up under the name of 'Zai'. This would leave her unable to have any more children, as the heat of an Asmodine is impossible to handle for nondemons and her womb was burnt beyond repair.
She had survived controversy before, but this was far too much. She was told she was a liar, a whore, that she had fabricated this for her own personal gain. She isolated herself, even her own troops believed this slander. She started to hide her body, hide herself,
out of grief and fear. Anger and resentment built and she decided she'd shut everyone up with a massive display of power - through an Alliance with Lucifer himself, she returned the shard of the mirror in exchange for him helping her to eradicate the entirety of the Asmodine race.
And he agreed.
After the genocide, she kept herself away from the public until she gave birth.
Seeing that the child was half demon and sickly, she locked him inside of a tower without even naming him. No one could know he existed - she had to find a way to deal with him somehow. She tried to let him go peacefully, through poison, but nothing seemed to work. Centuries past, stress built up and her medications - antipsychotics and mood stabilizers - started to have adverse side effects in response. She stopped taking her mood stabilizers, as they started making her feel empty, numb and nothing like herself. This led to her discarding her antipsychotics as well... Which eventually led to her and her child taking an unfortunate tumble out of a ten-story tower window.
The child survived by landing on her neck - this was what killed her. Since he fled and no one knew of him, her death was ruled a suicide and people blamed the last remaining Asmodine, Asmodeus, for the death of their beloved Empress.
For this, she has been taken shortly after death. Somehow.
She's very mechanically inclined, having designed several of her own battleships, and rather sick of politics, so she's probably going to pursue a career as a mechanic here.
For a faceclaim, I use both herself AND Raine Sage from Tales of Symphonia.
